Studio Work

I still paint.

Not as a side hustle. Not as a therapy pitch. Partly because it keeps my instincts alive, but mostly because I want to.

The work is messy in places, controlled in others. It’s about faces, space, distortion and the strange pressure that shows up when an image starts to feel like something. That same pressure is usually where my best design work starts too.
